LIFE'S GREATEST QUESTION

What will you do with Jesus?
RECOGNIZE YOUR CONDITION
The Bible tells us what we all know to be true-nobody is perfect. Romans 3:10

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" -Romans 3:23

Romans 3:23 says that we are sinners. Sin is anything that is contrary to God’s law. Anger, greed, lust, dishonesty, and covetousness are a few examples of sins that we can all relate to. Big or small, we’ve all committed sins. Because we are sinners, we fall short of Heaven.
WE ARE ALL SINNERS
OUR SIN HAS TO BE PAID FOR
Romans 6:23 explains that just as there are wages for good, there is punishment for wrong. The penalty for our sin is eternal death in a place called Hell.

"For the wages of sin is death..." -Romans 6:23a

A wage is a payment. Your wage for your job is money. Your payment for sin is death. This is not just referring to physical death, but spiritual death in hell. Hell is the punishment we all deserve, and because we are sinners, we all deserve to go there. Revelation 20:14-15 says...

"And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life wascast into the lake of fire."
-Revelation 20:14-15
THE PAYMENT FOR SIN IS HELL
RELIGION AND GOOD WORKS ARE NOT THE ANSWER
Heaven cannot be earned. It may seem logical to think that you can do good works to get there, but they cannot bridge the gap created by sin.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
-Ephesians 2:8-9

Ephesians 2:8-9 explains that Heaven cannot be earned. It is impossible to work your way there. The only way to Heaven is through Jesus Christ as a FREE GIFT.
HEAVEN CANNOT BE EARNED
THE GOOD NEWS
While we are hopeless on our own, Jesus left Heaven to become a man to pay for our sins on the cross. Since sin has to be paid for, and since we cannot pay for it ourselves unless we go to hell, Jesus took our place and paid for the sins of mankind-past, present, and future. Romans 5:8

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” -Romans 5:8

Through Jesus’ death and resurrection, every person has been given the GIFT of eternal life in Heaven. It is your decision to receive or reject that gift!
JESUS PAID THE PRICE
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
-Romans 10:9
BELIEVE AND RECEIVE
How do you receive the gift that Jesus gave when He died and rose again? The answer is simple. Romans 10:9

To confess is to admit something to be true.  It cannot be lip-service. It must be received by faith. Believe on Jesus’ death and resurrection, not on your works or religion. That is the promise! Receiving the gift of Heaven is a one-time decision.

John 3:3-5 speaks about becoming born again. We all have a birthdate. You are only born once. Will you bow your head today, confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, put your faith in what He did to give you eternal life, and accept Him as your Saviour today?
